The Georgian Obstetricians' Gynecologists Association  is non profit, non governmental  professional  association,  member of FIGO  since 1997,  dedicated to promoting the field of obstetrics and gynecology in Georgia   through different activities:

Professional development: GOGA focuses  on the continuous professional development of obstetricians and gynecologists.  The association organizes conferences, seminars, workshops, and training programmes to enhance the knowledge and skills. These events   provide opportunities for learning , sharing experience, and staying  updated with the latest advancements  in the field.

Advocacy and representation - The association is actively participates in policy discussions, health related debates and reforms pertaining to women health issues, reproductive rights    and healthcare delivery.

Guidelines and protocols - GOGA  develops and disseminates the protocols and guidelines for obstetric and gynecological care. This guideline serve as evidence based recommendations   for health care professionals  ensuring standardized practices and improving  the quality of care provided to patients

Collaboration and Networking – GOGA fosters collaboration and networking among obstetricians and gynecologists within Georgia and professionals  from other countries . The association encourages the exchange the knowledge, experiences, and best practices through partnership with international organizations and participation in international conferences and congresses  

Community Engagement and Education – GOGA actively engages with the community to raise awareness  about women’s  health issues , promote preventive care and provide educational recourses. The association conducts public health campaigns, organize  educational events  and participated in initiatives aimed at improving reproductive health outcomes  and reducing maternal and perinatal mortality rates.
