About GOGA

Georgian   Obstetricians and Gynecologists Association (GOGA)   was established  by a group of professionals.     In   1997   on  XV World FIGO  Congress  in Copenhagen GOGA  became a full member of International Federation Gynecology and Obstetrics ( FIGO)  .  GOGA  was  one of   the first professional organizations  who joined  to  FIGO  members  among   the former USSR countries .     As a non-governmental organization   it serves as  a strong advocate for the protection of quality of care   women and newborns  in the difficult process of reformation  and reorganization  of  the mother and child care services  in Georgia  and    maintains the  highest  possible  standards of clinical practice and  education   for members, health professionals  and patients
